The Feeding Machine

Scott has been cooking up a storm lately. He's very much into healthy food, which is great, since I don't cook with much variety. PB&J or a Quesadilla anyone? I'm stuck in my college food making rut while I hear about friends making elaborate and tasty meals. Scott has been coming home and cooking two meals every evening. He eats so much one usually isn't enough to provide leftovers for the next day. I'm not sure what will happen if we ever have two of him in the house, I think I would lose a few pounds fighting for my food. Tonight he made gumbo and ribs, last night he made meatloaf and stir fry. The sad thing is, I didn't get to eat any of it. By the time he's done cooking at 10:00 at night, I've already gone past the starving point and made myself a sandwich. So silly.

  1. No leftovers after meatloaf and stir fry? Good god, man, I made meatloaf a week and a half ago and I still have some in the fridge.

Are you familiar with the Michael Phelps diet?

P.S. sorry the link opens in this window, it won't let me use 'target' code.

  2. mmmm meatloaf. I wish I had a husband who even liked meatloaf. I say enjoy the fine cooking!

  3. I'm back onto my cooking thing. Actually, I made a super healthy, super tasty albacore/corn/lime/cilantro taco thing the other day that didn't even involve cooking and only took 5-10 minutes, and that's my favorite kind of cooking. Actually, my favorite kind of cooking is going on right now...Corey's out cooking me steak on the grill :).

  4. Yum, you're making me hungry Sarah. Ladies I often draw inspiration from you when I decide to deviate from my pattern. Also, MD I believe you are correct, Scott is on the Michael Phelps diet
