Not a political blog, but...

So, I haven't ever really posted here, but I thought some people might be interested in alternative bailout proposals since the bigg'un failed today.

If you're interested, this post on Daily Kos has some alternative takes from other sources, specifically mentioning previous banking crises in the past, and how those crises were averted.

  1. I think this counts for my post for the day. Thanks for pitching in Scott!

  2. Thanks for bringing that website to my attention Scott, very interesting. I have forwarded it on to a few friends.

  3. No problem, I really enjoy reading it for snarky political commentary. Occasionally they'll say something that I don't agree with, but for the most part their posts are well thought out and well researched.

As far as polling for the current election goes (if you're into that) I would check out this site . The do really awesome polling composites and breakdowns by state.

  4. I am all about the snarky political discussion. I especially like it when they back up the snark with research. Since I live in a red state I rarely get involved in political discussions, I have to turn to the internet to find like-minded people

  5. Scott! You read kos and 538 too. I love it. I hit them up daily.

  6. What would the Joe sixpacks/plumbers and Hockey Moms of the couontry say?!?!

Something much smarter then Palin I'm sure...
